Anker Roav Bluetooth FM Transmitter Review

The Anker Roav FM Transmitter and charger allows anyone with a smartphone to play music in their older vehicle while charging their device at the same time.

Anker Roav Bluetooth FM Transmitter Review

We recently purchased a 2004 car that has a cd and cassette player. We were looking for a way to play our smartphones through the factory radio that has a Mark Levinson sound system with steering wheel controls.

Drastically modifying the vehicle or spending a thousand dollars having a new stereo installed was not something we were interested in. We were happy with the factory sound and look of the dashboard. So, we bought a cheap FM transmitter from Walmart and it sucked. It cost around ten dollars and it was horrible.

Enter the Anker Roav FM Transmitter.

We purchased the Anker Roav FM Transmitter on Amazon for $30 and had it at the house in a few days. This thing is awesome. It is compact, works amazing, and it has a built-in microphone that allows you to talk through your car speakers that works great.

Playing Music Through the iPhone X

This is what everyone wants to know. How does it sound? Awesome!

It will blow you away how good the Anker Roav Fm Transmitter sounds playing the music off your phone wirelessly through your factory radio. The music is clear. The bass is powerful.

It works as if we have the phone connected with a cable. It works as good, if not better than the built-in Bluetooth in our vehicles that are over ten years newer. The device is very impressive.

Change Music Tracks on Anker Roav

The Anker Roav FM Transmitter has skip forward and skip backwards button right on the unit. If you are listening to a song you don't like, hit the skip forward button. It works great and prevents you from having to unlock your phone while driving. A much safer way to control your music.

USB-A and USB-C Charging

The Anker Roav FM Transmitter has the old and new style USB ports for charging your iPhone and or your iPad Pro or any device that needs the newer USB-C format.

USB-C allows you to high-speed charge devices. Just like any Anker product, they charge plenty fast and it works great.

Talk on Phone Through Car Speakers

You may or may not use this feature, but it’s built into the Anker Roav FM Transmitter.

Once your phone is connected through Bluetooth to the Anker Roav, you can take phone calls. There is a phone button right on the unit that allows you to answer or hang up with phone calls.

The Anker has a built-in mic that works really well and the person you're talking to comes through the car speakers.

It really is amazing how good this thing works. I am surprised more people don't talk about these devices for older vehicles.

Channel We Use on Radio

In our area, channel 107.9 works great. There is no interference and the audio is super clear. You could not ask for more from a $30 device.

Great For Any Kid With an Older Vehicle

If you have kids that want to play their smartphone through the radio of their old vehicle, this is the device for them. Plus, it's a charger. One device does it all which is nice. Especially if they only have one cigarette lighter.

Conclusion

The Anker Roav FM Transmitter saved me $1,000 dollars. I was looking at stereos online that I could have installed in our car and with labor it was going to set us back a pretty penny. If you are in the same situation, try out this amazing device as it will impress you.
