A few years back Amarr introduced a new collection of high-end garage doors by Axolotl which were marketed only to the most discerning of buyers. The beautiful finishes were something I had never seen offered on garage doors, mush less any other product.

The Axolotl for Amarr Collection has been rebranded as the Amarr Foundry Reserve Collection following the conclusion of the Axolotl marketing partnership with Amarr. While the collection name, design names, and color names have changed, the product itself remains the same, maintaining the same manufacturing process, finish quality, and overall appearance.

What is the Amarr Foundry Reserve Collection?

These unique, luxurious garage doors combine the high-quality Amarr Vista aluminum frame with applied architectural surfaces to create a variety of textures and designs not previously possible on garage doors.
Amarr Garage Doors

The Foundry Reserve Collection is a luxurious residential and commercial garage door using surface laminate panels that are installed over Amarr’s 3552 aluminum frame. A chemical bonding process that consists of semi-precious metals and concrete come together to make a garage door not previously possible due to complexity, weight, and cost.

Amarr Foundry Reserve Construction

Durable 2” thick extruded aluminum rails & stiles
Door sizes available in 1” increments
Tough, compact laminate external panels with the premium architectural finish
Available with WindPro wind load reinforcement specifically built to withstand high-wind pressures to meet local building codes.

Amarr Foundry Reserve Specifications

The Amarr Foundry Reserve collection uses a 3” track and solid torsion shaft in the build of the product. This tells us these garage doors are heavy, and this is due to the metal and concrete used in the product. It will be important to choose a heavy duty automatic opener that can accommodate the additional weight of these garage doors.

Amarr Foundry Reserve Textured Designs

Four dramatic panel designs available in a selection of ten complimentary color options, all designed to transform your home with unexpected beauty.
Amarr Garage Doors

The Amarr Foundry Reserve collection starts with selecting the textured design you feel will best complement the aesthetics of your home. The designs offered are Ingot Aged Steel, Aeris Zinc Noir, Astral Weathered Nickel, and Pantheon Lustrous Concrete.

Each design is dramatic in look and feel to create a scene you will love driving up to. Nothing is standard about this collection, so if you decide to go this route, you will truly set yourself apart from the neighbors.

Amarr Foundry Reserve Colors

After selecting a design, your next option is to pick a color to suit the design theme of your home. The colors offered will be subject to the design you choose. If you’re looking for unique, this is the garage door collection for you.

How Much is an Amarr Foundry Reserve Garage Door?

The Amarr Foundry Reserve garage door is an ultra-premium offering that is on the more expensive side. You can expect to pay $15,000-$20,000 for a single car 8×7 door and $28,000-$35,000 for a double car 16×7 door. The price can vary widely depending on where you are located and what configuration you select.
